2024 General Election

If you are unable to make it to the polls on Election Day, you may request an absentee ballot be mailed to you by completing an Absentee Ballot Request form and returning it to the Auditor's Office. Completed request forms will be accepted August 27, 2024 through October 21, 2024. Please call the Auditor's Office at 712-433-2191 to receive a request form or visit www.sos.state.ia.us.

Actual ballots will be mailed to you beginning October 16th and must be received back in the Auditor's Office by the close of polls (8 PM) on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, in order to be counted.

Early Voting

You are also welcome to vote early in person at the Auditor's Office in the Monona County Courthouse beginning Wednesday, October 16th through Monday, November 4, 2024. The Auditor's Office is open Monday-Friday from 8:00 AM until 4:30 PM. Please bring a valid form of ID to vote early in person.
