ATV, ORM, ORV/UTV & Snowmobile Renewals

Monona County Recorder, Kelly Seward would like to remind owners of ATV’s (all-terrain vehicles), ORV/UTV’s (off-road utility vehicles), ORM’s (off-road motorcycles) and snowmobiles that the Iowa DNR registrations may now be renewed for 2025.  After December 31st there will be a $5 penalty.

Off-High Vehicles
Cost for the renewal sticker is $18.50 (if your registration is up to date).  Iowa residents must have and display a current registration sticker on their vehicle to operate it on any designated public land or ice in Iowa.  

Snowmobiles
For Iowa residents the snowmobile renewal fee is now $33.50 and combines the registration and the snow user permit to lawfully operate on any public land or public ice in Iowa.
