MAINTENANCE OPERATOR III

Monona County Secondary Roads Department is looking for a qualified person to fill a vacant Maintenance Operator III position.  This position will report to the Area Road Foreman.  The person hired to fill this position will be required to perform a variety of tasks associated with roadway maintenance throughout Monona County.  Qualified applicants should have a high school diploma, or GED and experience operating construction equipment related with highway maintenance.  Preferred applicants shall possess a valid State of Iowa Class A CDL at the time of hire.  Applicants without a Class A CDL must obtain the license within 6 months of hire.  This position is an on-call union position.
