The administration of the Monona County 911 system is overseen by the emergency management coordinator. Responsibilities include overseeing the 911 telephone system, computer-aided dispatch (CAD) system, the public safety radio system and the rural addressing system.
Rural Address Signs
5 digit Rural addressing signs are provided free for all new rural residence in Monona County. Please e-mail the 911 Coordinator to request a new sign. Per the 911 Commission, as of 2023 there will be a fee to install a Rural Addressing sign at any non-occupied location. Please contact the 911 Coordinator to inquire about cost and to get signs installed. Monona County residence can also ask for a free replacement of older signs by contacting the 911 Coordinator at [email protected].
